Itinerary from the tour:
Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
We will pick you up for your hotel/riad. than we leave Marrakech and drive towards the High Atlas
Mountains and the road for Ouarzazate with the Tizi´ N´Tichka pass (2260m). You will enjoy beautiful landscapes with various colours as well as the Berber villages. We will visit Kasbah Telouet which was occupied through the Glaoui Pacha during his reign and is also frequented by Moroccan travellers.
The Kasbah is in the village of Telouet nestled away from Ounila Valley. The Harem and reception hall areas give one
a good idea from the former luxury through which El Glaoui lived, as well as a consider the Andalusian-style of
decorating. However, the older parts with the Kasbah have been in complete ruins, which makes it challenging to see
properly. Walking through the crumbling passageways is similar to walking through a maze and a few people
have got lost going through the dilapidated Kasbah. We carry on and the second Kasbah, Aït Benhaddou,
UNESCO placed it under its auspices being a World Heritage Site and so the Moroccan Government itself
jumped on the bandwagon in 1994 to rehabilitate the Kasbah as a way to preserve the cultural and
national heritage. The Kasbahs were a serious stop for camel caravans carrying salt with the Sahara and

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge
After The breakfast we depart towards town of Ouarzazate referred to as Gate of Sahara Desert. Visit
Kasbah Taourirt. Then we start travelling through Road of 1000 Kasbahs for the Oasis Skoura lined by
many palm groves than in our way we will stop for visiting the Rose Valley is knowning for its
production of Damascus roses. At Dades Boumalne we may take smaller route that can lead us for the
Dades Gorge. We will pass the strange rock development of Tamnalt Hills, a bizarre rock resembling monkey
feet. We will travel for the top of the Dades Gorge, a deep gorge of red and mauve rock towering above the

Dades Gorge –Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi) Camel ride & Night in Desert
After breakfast you may leave Dades to research the amazing Todra Gorges then visit Tinghir that you
can walk amongst the beautiful oasis palm trees. Erfoud will be your next destination where you are going to see a
traditional cutting workshop then towards the small town of Rissani for lunch. After lunch you are going to always
Merzouga where you’ll camel trek to the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the evening inside a
bivouac (camp), enjoy a Moroccan dinner, and sleep in a traditional Nomad camel hair Berber tent in a very Desert Camp.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
You will wake to savor the sunrise in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the best moment of
Merzouga desert, drive to Fes along the Ziz Valley Gorge and via Azrou as well as the cedar forests where
colonies with the indigenous Barbary monkeys can keep you amused. Then we continue our method to Fez
where the non-public tour ends.
